Paint Protection Film Installation in Parker, Colorado

Self-healing LLumar paint protection film installed in-house at KTC Audio. Defend your paint against rock chips, scratches, and road debris — without changing the look of your vehicle.

Invisible Armor for Colorado Roads

Between I-25 gravel, winter sand, and mag chloride, Front Range driving is hard on paint. Chips on the hood and bumper aren't a matter of if — they're a matter of when. Paint protection film (PPF, sometimes called a clear bra) is a transparent urethane layer that takes those impacts so your factory paint doesn't have to.

We install LLumar paint protection film in a clean, controlled bay at our Parker shop. The film is optically clear, self-healing against light swirls, and resistant to yellowing and staining — so your vehicle looks the way it did the day it left, for years.

Coverage That Fits How You Drive

PPF isn't one-size-fits-all. We'll walk you through the coverage levels below and recommend the panels that actually matter for your vehicle and your commute.

Full Front End

Bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, and headlights — the panels that take the most abuse from highway debris.

Partial Front

A budget-friendly option covering the leading edge of the hood and fenders plus the front bumper.

High-Impact Add-Ons

Rocker panels, door edges, door cups, rear bumper ledge, and A-pillars — the spots that chip and scratch first.

Track Packages

Extended coverage for cars that see track days or canyon runs, where rubber and gravel hit at speed.

How It Works

01

Inspection & Consultation

We look over the paint, note any existing chips or defects, and map out the coverage that fits how you drive.

02

Surface Prep

The vehicle is washed, decontaminated, and clayed so the film bonds to perfectly clean paint.

03

Pattern & Cut

Panels are computer-cut from vehicle-specific templates or hand-trimmed for wrapped edges where possible.

04

Installation

Film is applied in a clean, controlled bay and squeegeed free of lift lines, fingers, and contamination.

05

Final Review

After curing we re-check every edge and seam with you and go over care instructions before you drive away.

Paint Protection Film FAQ

What does paint protection film actually protect against?

PPF is a clear urethane layer that absorbs impacts from rock chips, gravel, road salt, bug acids, and light scratches. It's especially valuable on Colorado highways where sand and mag chloride chew up front ends all winter.

Will the film change how my paint looks?

Modern LLumar film is optically clear and virtually invisible once installed. Gloss film enhances the factory shine, and a satin option is available if you want a matte look over gloss paint. We can show you samples at the shop before you decide.

What does self-healing mean?

The top coat of the film reflows with heat — from the sun, warm water, or the engine — so light swirls and surface scratches disappear on their own instead of building up over time.

Should I get paint correction before PPF?

If the paint has swirls or defects, film will lock them in underneath. We recommend correcting the paint first on vehicles that need it — we do both in-house, so the finish under your film looks as good as the film itself.
